Kansas City, Kan. -
Kansas City, Kan. Firefighters responded Friday morning to a two-alarm warehouse fire at 900 S. 68th Street.

Around 11:50 a.m., KCKFD reported to a singe-story warehouse just south of Kansas Highway 32 with heavy smoke showing. After calling for a second alarm, firefighters appeared to have contained the fire to the northeast corner of the large building.

Initial reports indicate that while chemicals were in the area, they were not involved in the fire itself.

At this time, KCKFD reports no occupants were in the building. No word on any injuries.

Crews started to clear the scene around 12:30.
